Thailand Local Representative
Why a Local Responsible Person (Notifying Party) Is Required
According to the Cosmetic Act B.E. 2558 (2015) and its amendments, any foreign company that wishes to manufacture or import cosmetics in Thailand must appoint a legally registered Thai entity as its Notifying Party.
This responsible entity is required to submit product notifications under its own name, maintain product documentation, assist in adverse event monitoring and reporting, cooperate in product recalls, and bear corresponding quality and safety responsibilities.

Frequently Asked Questions
I don’t have a local company in Thailand. Can I still register my cosmetic products?
Yes, you can.
If you have not yet established a local Thai company, our company — which holds TFDA-compliant warehouse certification and office premises — can act as your local representative and assist you through the entire product notification process.
I already have a registered local company in Thailand. Can I directly apply for product notification?
Not necessarily.
According to TFDA requirements, a local company must have qualified warehouse facilities (with proper temperature and humidity control, and secure storage conditions) and a valid office location, both subject to regulatory inspection.
If your company has not yet obtained TFDA qualifications, we can provide on-site compliance guidance and support in preparing application materials, helping you successfully achieve TFDA approval.
