Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the product notification process take?
For ordinary cosmetics (e.g., lotions, toners), the process usually takes 1–2 weeks. For specific categories such as whitening or sunscreen products, it may take 2–3 weeks, as efficacy claims require additional verification.
Does the label have to be entirely in Thai?
Key information such as the ingredient list, usage instructions, and warning statements must be in Thai. English text may be included as supplementary information. We can help ensure your label fully complies with TFDA requirements.
Do I need to provide a Thai label during the review?
No, a Thai label is not mandatory for our review process. You may provide either a Thai or English version of the label depending on your product situation—both are acceptable for our compliance review.
